    @brunoanhe I see you have experience in working with farmers in the area of water management. Perhaps you can advice us on the Hipporoller and its advantages for small scale farmers.

    In December 2011 we sent 360 hipporollers to small scale cotton farmers in Zambia to improve agricultural wokring practices and to help them increase their incomes and deliver benefits to the local communities.

    Small scale cotton farmers still carry water in buckets from the water source to their cotton trees. By the time these farmers have watered just 1 hectare of trees, they have walked 40km carrying heavy buckets of water which is very strenuous and time consuming.

    The Hippo Water Roller as an appropriate technology helps farmers to be far more efficient by using the Hippo rollers to carry five times the amount of water with ease from their wells to their trees, and at the same time improve access to water for their families.
