    Waterprotec is a low cost leak supervisor. More info : http://www.oxel.fr. It has to be connected to the cold/warm water meter’s sensor and supervises consumptions 24/7. It buzzes when there is no interruption in consumption for 6 or 24 hours depending on the setting. That’s mean there is a leak. It can supervise the consumptions of a house, an apartment, a building, a farm, a plant, an irrigation system, a marina, a school….

    It runs on a battery : no need for an input power supply. Battery lifetime : if no leak : 13 years ; if leak and ongoing buzz : 6 months

    If 0,5 litre per impulse : Waterprotect detects leaks from 1,5 litres/hour
    If 1 litre per impulse : Waterprotect detects leaks from 3 litres/hour
    If 5 litres per impulse : Waterprotect detects leaks from 15 litres/hour
    If 10 litres per impulse : Waterprotect detects leaks from 30 litres/hour

    The buzzer stops automaticaly as soon as there is no consumption.

    P.S. : A leak of 5 liters per hour, it is a lost of 46 000 liters /year ; 12 liters per hour : ± 105 000 l./year ; 35 liters per hour : ± 306 000 l. /year ; 50 liters per hour ± 440 000 l. /year. For the lifetime of the device, the figures should be multiply by ten.
