Short description / Biography

I am a PhD student at HIRG, UCL. My academic and professional work has been in Disaster Management. I obtained my degree from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India. My research interest lies in various phases of a disaster cycle ranging from preparedness, to risk reduction as well as response analysis, project planning, knowledge management and capacity building. Currently I am working on the social aspects of health infrastructure to better engineering sanitation technology and facilities for disaster relief management and sustainable development in low-income countries.
