Determination of alkaline- and alkaline earth elements in water is possible using atomic absorption spectrometers. Shimadzu AA-7000 allows the fully automatic micro sampling method in flame atomization. That may be correct as when I was in Indonesia the well that was used for their daily requirements had to be closed as gaze came up and water was contaminated as their was a factory near .
