From targets to solutions and commitments, the 6th World Water Forum “Time for Solutions” is advocating a strategic approach to solving key water problems. Whether institutional, technical, legal, financial or communication-related, a solution is a successful answer to a problem and contributes to reaching one of the Forum’s ambitious thematic and regional targets. Commitments can then be sought at all levels and from all kind of stakeholders to strengthen the implementation and follow-up of the target action plans and promising solutions.

Maybe its too late now, but separate South Asia region would have been appropriate given the region’s size. It could cover Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.
Hello Nitya, thank you for your suggestion. According to the size of work or the number of solution or commitments we might or might not include a separate region for South Asia. For the moment we will have just one region – Asia-Pacific that includes all. Do not hesitate to give us your suggestions in the future and please do meet other members and comment on other solutions to start a debate or conversation on this platform.
How do you join a region?
Hello Debra, click on one of the regions above. When you land up on the regions page, below the title you will see an icon that says “Join Priority”. Click on this button and you become a member of the region. Let me know if it doesn’t work out for you. Thank you.
what i have noted invariably is the message communications speed need be improved. also when we send the message there should be an arrangement to get copy of the same delivered to us/issuer also the copy of comment is and as be received. that enables reducing the time gaps in mutual communications for the interested participants and more so when an important issue is involved.
we also need the name of Manager his email.
