The Moringa oleifera is a plant originally from India which nowadays grows in various tropical countries. In Angola, this plant can be found in the province of Kwanza-Sul although it is assumed that there should be other areas in Angola ripe for its growth. This paper aims to test the applicability of Moringa in the coagulation and flocculation stages of water treatment. The water used in this study is collected from the River Bengo in Luanda, one of the sources for water supply to Luanda.
