Mbouda City located in the western province of Cameroon has a population of about 180,000 inhabitants and 30% hardly have access to drinking water. It is not only the issue of access to clean water but the whole issue of water resources managing that has to be taken into account. Indeed, water is polluted, the exploitation is done in an anarchistic way and so far no structure works to improve the situation. It is in this context that this project came out. It aims on the one hand to strengthen access to safe drinking water in the town of Mbouda and on the other hand the establishment of an effective and efficient water resources management in Bamboutos Mountains watersheds.
