This project presents a framework and a method for assessing the vulnerability of 38 fish species to climate change in France. The method is based on the development of habitat suitability models developed for current and future climate conditions. These models included spatially explicit variables related to current and future climatic data (scenario A1B) and environmental features (considered constant in time). The outputs of the model combined to dispersion capacity and uncertainty index (from expert judgments) allowed the construction of vulnerability indicators for 38 fish species. These results provided some guidelines for conservation recommendations in a context of climatic change.
