The management of water supply under crisis conditions consists of three stages of pre-crisis, immediately after the crisis, and post crisis measures, each requiring plans for efficient management of existing installations and systems as well as manpower. To clarify the macro-policies of the country and define the national guidelines for water supply (supply, transmission, distribution) to rural and urban areas, in particular in the wake of tremors, building on the experiences of other countries would be beneficial.
