The Hima approach empowers sustainable management of natural resources through empowering local reforms and policies, it stresses on the promotion of the traditional management approaches where community based agreement act as legay binding. Environmental Education is promoted in Himas through the support of sustainable management of natural resources,where people are trained to adopt sustainable management.

Keeping in view the high TDS/Salinity in Churu district the project undertook to install Reverse Osmosis (RO)/UltraViolet (UV) plants based on PepsiCo water business model in five project villages on pilot basis. RO/UV plants of 500 litres per hour capacity have been installed in three villages viz Gulpura, Shyopura and Sutpura by SC.
