The project is about an innovative local experience on water economy and sustainable rural development initiated by a consortium of governmental and nongovernmental institutions. In Marsh 2006, a consortium of 24 institutions representing public and private bodies has launched, for the first time in Morocco, a regional cluster called ‘Agrotechnologies’ Association to play the role of an interface of cooperation, exchange, planning and management of common regional project on water economy, preservation of regional water resource and the valorization of local terroir products.
