The overarching goal of the TWB-MRB Project is to implement a coordinated and highly participatory project to improve water resource management in ways that reduce and mitigate threats to biodiversity in the Mara River Basin and Mara-Serengeti Ecoregion, while enhancing the health and livelihoods of communities living in the basin.

To populate and activate the water Information system by both building the capacity of the PWA data bank and other targeted staff members and provision of the needed software and hardware in order to achieve sustainable water information system. Aiming at reliable and accurate data and information for strategic planning, effective management, and also to efficiently respond to the humanitarian emerging situations.
