Pedagogical system called “water class”: an active educational method adapted to different publics, from primary school to university, from novice to specific professionals. It’s a training period (generally one week) where the participants learn basic citizen information: natural and domestic water circle but also water management. The pedagogical material is the log-book containing water class program, information, speech presentations, exercises, etc. It’s a reference book for the future.

The goal of this project is to encourage participation and collaboration of youth with wide sectors of the community to analyze local water related health problems, as well as to encourage youth in becoming part of the solution. To achieve this goal this project aims to bridge formal basic and middle science education with local environmental issues facilitating links among students and local water monitors.
